Safety Policy

 

Adult supervision must be maintained at all times. The bounce house and/or combo bounce house must not be left unattended while anyone is using it. AGAIN, adult supervision must be maintained at all times!

No food or beverages in the bounce house at any time.

No shoes or other objects in the bounce house at any time unless provided by Jubilee Zoo.

All participants must empty their pocket before entering the bounce house.

No flips, somersaults, wrestling, or any other rough housing are allowed while in the bounce house.

Do not run into and/or bounce against the walls of the bounce house.

Do not run or jump through the entrance of the bounce house.

It is recommended that each participant enter and exit the bounce house in a seated position.

Do not bounce closer than two feet from the door.

Do not climb or hang from interior or exterior of the bounce house.

Do not use the bounce house while it is raining.  The surface of the bounce house becomes very slippery when it is wet.  In the event of rain, please have all bouncers exit the bounce house.  The unit should then be deflated by switching the blower unit to the off position.

If the wind becomes excessive (15-20 mph +), please have all participants exit the unit and turn off/deflate the bounce house.

Participants should be grouped by similar age and size.

No pets allowed in or around the unit at any time.

NO SILLY STRING allowed in or around the bounce house.  Silly String’s chemical formula can permanently damage the vinyl used to make all inflatables. If Silly String is used on the equipment and stains the equipment or the equipment is vandalized, you will be charged the replacement cost of the inflatable printed on your contract and we will give you the damaged unit to keep.

 

Bad Weather Policy

You will not lose your deposit or be charged extra if your event is cancelled due to bad weather.  However, it is your responsibility to call at least 4 hours before your start time in the event of adverse weather.  It will be left up to Jubilee Zoo to determine whether or not the forecast is adverse enough to fall under our bad weather policy.  In this case you will have the option to reschedule your event, or receive a full refund of your deposit.  If you fail to call at least 4 hours before your start time, then your deposit will be forfeit; however, you will be given the option to reschedule (up to 6 months) as long as our delivery driver has not left our facility.  Once the unit has been delivered to your event you are responsible for paying the full rental price regardless of how long you were able to use the unit.

Jubilee Zoo reserves the right to cancel your event due to adverse weather.  Your event will only be cancelled if:

- The chance of rain is greater than 60%

- There is already adverse weather in your area

- Winds exceed 25MPH

If Jubilee Zoo is forced to cancel your event, you will have the option to reschedule your event (up to 6 months) or receive a full refund of deposit.  Please know that safety is our main concern. 

 

Cancellation Policy

In order for you to receive a full refund (less a 5% restocking fee) of your deposit you must cancel at least 10 days prior to your event.  You may cancel as late as 4 days prior to your event and still be given the option to reschedule.  If cancelling any later than 4 days prior, your deposit will be forfeit.  If you must cancel due to weather related issues please refer to our bad weather policy above.

 

Customer Pick Up Policy

Safety is our primary concern, which is why we do not allow our equipment to be setup by anyone other than Jubilee Zoo staff.  We require that at time of setup, all bounce houses are to be checked for safe operation, and cleaned and sanitized.  Our staff is to review all necessary safety instructions with each customer and anyone involved in supervising the safe operation of the bounce house.

 

Cleaning Fees That May Apply

A cleaning fee of not less than $20 will be assessed if the bounce house is dirty when picked up. This doesn’t apply to a reasonable amount of dirt that can be tracked in.  It does apply but is not limited to mud, food, drinks, water (other than rain), silly string, stickers, scuff marks or sand.  Cleaning fee of $20 per estimated hour will be determined by Jubilee Zoo staff and you will be billed accordingly at pick up.
 

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?

A: Yes, although an additional fee applies for travel per mile from the Jubilee Zoo facility.  Remember prices do not include sales tax.

Q: Do you deliver to other cities?

A: Yes, but once again please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high.  Please call our office for a current quote.

Q: Does the standard 4 hour rental time include your set up time?

A: No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play.

Q: When do you set up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 30 min-3 hours before the rental time begins if we are only doing bounce houses. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.  However, if you are getting a combination of a bounce house, and animals of any kind, we generally arrive 30min-1 hour before start time to cause less stress to the animals.

Q: When do you pick up?

A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day.  We will try to pick the unit up at or shortly after your rental time is over.  In the event we have several units to pick up around the same time it may be a few hours after your rental time is over before we are able to pick the unit up.  Please remember the unit is your responsibility until one of our staff members is able to pick it up.

Q: We´ve rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?

A: No. The jump should be clean when you get it. Jubilee Zoo cleans and disinfects after every rental.

Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?

A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the jump unit the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. That´s why we require an outlet within 50´ of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy duty cords.

Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

A: We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a resonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.

Q: What payments do you take?

A: Cash, Check or Credit Cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes all orders require a 25% Credit Card deposit to hold your day and time.

Q: How big are the jumps?

A: Please note the space required for each jump (listed near the large picture) as some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit. Jumps need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can´t rub against walls or trees as this may damage the jump.  The sizes listed with each jump include the space needed for stakes etc. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup.

Q: What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?

A: Check the requirements listed with each jump. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?

A: We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can´t set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl jumps.

Q: Can we see a copy of your contract and safety rules?

A: Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

A: Yes and no.  You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units.  Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time.  If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation.  If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars.  We don´t want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.
